Chris is responsible for Group strategy and helps our clients grow by developing new propositions and matching their business with relevant product partners.
He trained at Grant Thornton in Financial Services Audit and Transaction Support. He then worked in corporate finance at Strand Partners before starting the UK business for an international Financial Services Group specialising in Life, General and Affinity insurance schemes.
Chris is a visiting lecturer at Hull University Business School. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Karen joined Stubben Edge in 2013 and became Deputy CEO in 2018, and is our expert on all things loyalty.
Karen has extensive experience in insurance and wealth management having spent a number of years at Canada Life where she was the Senior Tax Manager and Barclays where she was Head of UK Trusts.
Karen graduated with a Law Degree and went onto complete her Legal Practice Course. She is a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and was a member of the Product Tax Panel at the ABI, she now sits on a committee within the MGAA.
Danny joined the Stubben Edge Group in October 2019 as our Head of Analytics, with the main focus of transforming data into business value and driving data-related business change.
Danny is a qualified Actuary with an unusually versatile background, ranging from Data Science all the way to Consulting. Having discovered an early passion for insurance, he has spent more than 7 years exploring all that the short-term insurance industry has to offer.
He completed his B.Sc. Actuarial Science degree Summa Cum Laude, at the North-West University South Africa, in 2012.
Maxine is our Senior Business Analyst, directly engaging with clients to evaluate and map processes, understand and document requirements and agree a final solution throughout the project lifecycle, keeping everyone involved and up to date.
She is an experienced and skilled Business Analyst with a proven record of successfully supporting the delivery of multi-faceted and complex business transformational change projects.
Maxine has worked across multiple sectors, including Insurance, Local & Central Government, and Travel, on projects including the implementation of a CRM system across multiple contact centres for local government and latterly across 560+ retail stores.
Tom works closely with our business partners to help them develop new products, place existing business and work with them to create solutions that will improve their business.
He began his career working for a large Commercial Insurance Underwriter in Gibraltar, before moving to a boutique Insurance Brokerage in Hampshire. Here, he delivered bespoke solutions to high net worth individuals, as well as developing their High Net Worth offering.
Tom completed his B.A hons in International Business Management at Northumbria University and is currently working towards his diploma in Insurance.
Declan is our Senior Operations Associate, and helps with the day-to-day running of Stubben Edge.
He joined the Stubben Edge Group team as an intern alongside his university studies, working on a large-scale project, implementing a new centralised IT system. Declan works closely with Lucid UX Limited, where he is involved in the Microsoft Dynamics project to replace Legacy Wealth Management and Risk Administration Systems.
Declan has a BA Hons in Business Management from the Lord Ashcroft International School of Business at Anglia Ruskin University.
Glen is responsible for supporting the delivery of multi-faceted and often complex business transformational change projects for our customers.
He is an experienced Business Analyst committed to making a difference with a proven ability to effectively translate business requirements in an environment of tightly integrated real-time systems. Glen is experienced in working on both UK and global transformation projects predominantly in the Travel sector.
Glen has over 18 years’ experience as a Business Analyst and has achieved the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
Hannah joined Stubben Edge group in October 2020 as our Video Editor. This role within the group seeks to drive brand awareness through innovative multimedia solutions.
An experienced journalist, Hannah previously produced video, words and pictures for The Daily Mirror. This gave her a unique insight into audience centred content, publishing, and social optimised content- something she brings to everything she creates for us.
Hannah completed a BA Honours in English Literature at the University of Sheffield (2016) and a Masters in Print Journalism (also University of Sheffield) in 2017.
Julie is the group’s corporate finance manager with a focus on transaction structuring, capital raising, financial analysis and reporting.
She developed a wide range of skills working with companies across banking, investment management and specialist financial services during her time as Senior Manager in the Deloitte Financial Services team. She worked for a Private Equity Fund manager before joining the Stubben Edge team.
Julie is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a CFA charter holder.
Chris joined Stubben Edge group as Head of Digital in July 2020. He looks after all marketing, content, social media and UX.
He has a background across a range of private and public sector industry sectors within both large and small organisations, in roles encompassing digital marketing, online trading and content management.
Chris has a degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate in Journalism.
Simon has practised as a barrister for 35 years and has been a QC for 15 years. He has been appointed to sit as a Recorder at the Criminal Court (Old Bailey) and as a Deputy Deemster (judge) by the Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man.
Joined Lloyd’s of London on 1968 and was appointed Deputy Chairman by the Corporation of Lloyd’s in 2007, Chairman of Argenta Private Capital in 2011 and currently served as a director of Lloyd’s broker Marine Aviation & General.
Nick worked in Willis Group for 28 years. He was responsible for the European and retail divisions and was a Board member of each of the major Willis Group operating companies. In 2001, he became non-executive director and acting Chairman of Chubb Europe.
