Stubben Edge has officially achieved the Cyber Essentials certification across the Group, marking another important milestone in our proactive approach to technical security and data protection.
This certification follows our recent ISO/IEC 27001 success, establishing a highly robust, multi-layered security framework that protects our systems, clients, and partners.
Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against a wide range of the most common cyber threats. The certification provides independent verification that we have implemented essential technical controls to safeguard our IT infrastructure, networks, and operational devices.
These controls cover five fundamental technical areas:
While our ISO 27001 certification focuses on our overarching Information Security Management System (ISMS), validating our policies, risk management, and administrative workflows, the Cyber Essentials certification specifically reinforces our technical, operational boundaries.
By achieving both, Stubben Edge Group ensures that information security is managed with absolute rigour, from high-level corporate governance down to daily technical hygiene.
Ryan Thornton - Director of IT at Stubben Edge Group, who led the project, commented:
"Earning this recognition reflects the high benchmark of quality set across Stubben Edge Group. It is a true reflection of our ongoing commitment to exceptional standards and the collective expertise within the business."You can view our Cyber Essentials Certification status and visit our Trust Centre to view the certificate and find out more about our approach to information security.
