In 2010, Chris established the business out of which Stubben Edge evolved. In 2018, Chris led the management buyout as a result of which Stubben Edge Group was created. 

Chris began his career at the Conservative Research Department working on the Work and Pensions section of the James Committee Review. He trained at Grant Thornton where he worked in the Financial Services audit and transaction services team before moving to Strand Partners where he gained experience of mergers and acquisitions as well as public and private fundraisings. Chris was responsible for establishing the United Kingdom arm of an offshore financial institution with over £12.5 billion under management. 

Chris has also been a visiting lecturer at Hull University. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
